On November 21st, Cummins and Bohai Piston 2023 Annual A Panel Meeting was held in Binzhou, Shandong Province. The meeting was initiated by Bai Yuan, General Manager of Anhui Cummins and attended by key leaders from Cummins ABO, Anhui Cummins, Dongfeng Cummins, Foton Cummins and Guangxi Cummins. Chen Geng, Executive Director of Bohai Piston, General Manager Ji Jun and team members attended the meeting.
The meeting reviewed the development and changes of Bohai Piston in recent years in various aspects such as product development, quality, delivery, and leanness, and explained the future investment plan, expressing the expectation of in-depth cooperation with Cummins in multiple fields. Hou Shijie, Purchasing Director of Cummins China, introduced Cummins' business updates, global and China business development, projects and strategies. Li Zhiquan, Purchasing Manager of Cummins Anhui, reviewed the performance of Bohai Piston in Cummins system in the past year, and once again won the recognition and praise of Cummins with excellent scoring results, which has been rated as excellent by Cummins for five consecutive years.
During the open discussion session, the leaders of all parties present commented on the business cooperation between Bohai Piston and Cummins, fully affirmed Bohai Piston's manufacturing capability, product quality and delivery guarantee, and put forward expectations and requirements for future cooperation.
Chen Geng, on behalf of the company, expressed his heartfelt thanks to the leaders of Cummins. Cummins is an important strategic customer of Bohai Piston, and the two sides have a cordial relationship and close cooperation. In the future, Bohai Piston will follow the pace of the development of Cummins, strengthen the multi-dimensional communication, and continue to expand the space of cooperation for new projects on the basis of guaranteeing the quality of the products and their delivery.
Mr. Bai Yuan expressed his gratitude to the leaders of all parties present and thanked Bohai Piston for its contribution to Cummins over the years. He hoped that Bohai Piston would continue to take advantage of its cost, production capacity, quality and other aspects, strengthen communication and docking of R&D, and strive for more in-depth cooperation on more projects.
The initiators of both parties summarized the meeting and put forward specific requirements and expectations for future cooperation. Bohai Piston will continue to plow into the main business of piston, deepen the strategic cooperation with Cummins, and move forward hand in hand for win-win development. This year marks the 60th anniversary of Bohai Piston's production of pistons, and the convening of this meeting has played a positive role in promoting the continuation and expansion of cooperation and development with Cummins.
